BLOG #1: The Life of Volleyball

Volleyball is something I find as a passion. This passion started in 5th grade. I was kind of forced into in because my best friend since kindergarten wanted me to join so bad with her. So I decided to try out. There are 3 different teams; A, B, and C. We had 3 days of tryouts and at the end of tryouts, I manage to make the A team. I stayed on this team for all my years of elementary and middle school. Over the period of time of playing, I have managed to learn a lot. Volleyball is a sport of competition as well as a sport of quickness. There is a court to play volleyball on, whether indoors or outdoors. It is slightly smaller than a basketball court.  During the game, you are allowed to score up to 25 points per game and you must win 3 out of 5 games. If you tie with two game each, the fifth game is up to 15. I also know that about the players on the team, their roles and what they have to do. I know who are the referees (because I was one myself) and who the linesmen are (because I was one myself too!) Other than this, these are the basics I know about volleyball. I want to get more into detail about the players, referees, and linesmen. Also, I do want to know, however, how volleyball started as well as who founded it. I want to know where did it originate at, where is it played around in the world how it became a sport in the Olympics. A couple questions would basically be everything I want to know. Who invented volleyball? Where? Why? How? As well as, where is it played? How, when, and why did volleyball become a Olympic sport?
